Old and New, Past and Future. Notice how future reflects all the past leaving only insignificant details out, distorting it a bit, changing color. But still it’s recognizable.
You can see some hints of future reflected in past, but that is not enough to tell what it looks like.
It’s just like in life. You know a little about the future, but everything you do or have done is reflected in it.
